    Automatic recording system on the basis of movement, and erasing system. According to me one monitor should be kept in front of the jail so that any public can visible the activities going inside the prison.

    It depends on the facility such as a state prison or local detention center. My facility uses the company pelco. Our cameras record 24/7, the only drawback is that our cameras aren’t equiped with audio.

    Our are PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) they are pretty good at providing decent coverage.
