surveillance camera to computer via internet?

OK so I work at a small store and am being suspected of stealing some products. I want to set up an inexpensive surveillance system that would allow me to record what happens during the night. But I dont want just a stand alone camera that would take pictures when it detects motion. I would like for the camera to take pictures or to stream video over the internet and then store it on my PC hard disk.
So is there some cheap system that i can set up that would allow me to do this?
