Question about CCTV DVR ??????

i bought a new CCTV camera security system from ebay and i tried turning on the dvr on today i plugged everything in like in the directions but when i try to view the DVR on a monitor or TV it says no signal i tried vga and video output and all the screens say no signal it is a 320 gb DVR please help me ?????????????????????????????????????

A few things to check out.

First, make sure your monitor is plugged into a composite output, or your monitor is plugged into the VGA output. DVR's have tons of inputs/outputs and it's easy to get them mixed up.

Last thing to do is check the cable – it could be a bad one!

    The second thing to verify is that the DVR setup is set to output to the appropriate port. Sometimes you need to do a software setup and reboot to get the output going.

    Last thing to do is check the cable – it could be a bad one!
