what is the point in these buttons? i thought if you pushed one it would call an ambulance, fire brigade or police? if theyre just gonna set off a different sounding alarm i dont see the point. although an emergency button would be good just to sound the alarm, one to test it and two if someone breaks in and they aren’t near the panel you can push it to scare them and hopefully they would leave.

he probably contacted the monitoring centre and told them that they would be testing the buttons.
