I want to install cctv cameras for my flat, is there any law on this or is it perfectly legal for me to put one in the front door and bcackdoor?

Short answer is no unless you’re infringing on someone elses privacy. This doesn’t mean if you catch a glimpse of someone elses garden or whatever as that would be impractical but you have to focus on a public area where it is legal to film people or a private area that you are resident to

You can’t put one in an area that privacy is expected. Such as a bathroom. You can put one at the front and back door.
