Is there a DVR software package compatible with Windows 7 64-bit that supports motion detect?

I recently bought a CCTV camera which I wanted to connect to my PC which has Windows 7 64-bit. Rather than buy an expensive DVR recorder I bought a USB stick that captures the video (BNC connector). The problem is that the software doesn’t support motion detect and you can’t adjust the frame rate so the resulting files are huge if you wish to record overnight. Does anyone know of a cheap alternative, I paid £20 for the USB stick and software.

In order to have motion detection you would need to upgrade your software. This is of course assuming your camera supports the feature. Upgrading your software could cost around $100 or you could get a low end DVR with the software for about $180. Those are very cost effective solutions but it is up to you if you want the function more than you want to spend the money.
