Is it legal to have CCTV cameras in school bathrooms?

they are pointing to the cubicle and we believe they can see all.. is that legal?

It is legal to have cameras in bathrooms, PROVIDED they do not show private areas (cubicles and urinals)

Cubicles have doors, so it is hard to see how any camera pointed at a cubicle could see anything.

I am not an expert on law, however I do believe that CCTV in the toilets is legal as long as there is notice displayed to inform the public, but I think that in the cubicles may be an Infringement of your privacy, however the law is quite complex so maybe as long as you were informed in a way of notice before you enter the toilets then it could be argued that it is your choice to use them knowing full well that you will be on CCTV and therefore not breaching any rights.
