I have an external book drive 250gb, I would like to hook it up to a CCTV with two wireless cameras rca input?

I am looking to use my exhisting hard drive or to buy a refurbished dvr for a two camera system. Both cameras hook up with one single rca and are wireless. Does anyone know of a site where you can purchase a cheap surveillance DVR or can I use my external book drive with some adaptation. thanks
