Do I require any special license to install CCTV systems in South Carolina?

I realize each state is different but I cannot find anything on South Carolina. I want to install small 4 or 8 camera systems in places such as convenience stores or residences. Anyone have a clue?

According to the statutes, you only need a license if you will be installing a burg or fire alarm or performing maintenance on one. Nothing is mentioned about CCTV.

You want to do a search for "Low Voltage Licensing"

Check out this site and click on SC:

Check http://www.zbeem.com for surveillance systems (cameras, dvr’s, etc) at good pricing.
