At various locations,I have counted 10 cameras in an area of 2500sqmetres.Some are quite open while others are semi hidden in signposts. It must cost a fortune.
Someone from New Labour should be able to tell you – they are experts on the Police State.

Is it reasonable to reduce the no.of law enforcers in favor of providing more CCTV cameras to solve crimes?

CCTV is proven yet of being effective / efficient to accumulate evidence of a certain crime.
I wholeheartedly support this proposition.
CCTV provides evidence, and is not capable of setting-up an innocent person the way unscrupulous "law enforcers" do. CCTV also will never ask for kotong or bribe money.
