Could I attach a CCTV system to my cat?

I’ve seen cat camera sets available for one hundred pounds. But I have better things to spend one hundred pounds on. So can I buy a regular CCTV camera (normally used for the home), strap it to my cat’s head, have a hard drive implanted and a USB socket so I can connect the cat to my computer and extract the data. I want videos of where my cat goes.

Thnx.

……….. almost funny; but not quite ! The weight of your aforementioned cowbell and the CCTV Camera would relegate the cat to simply laying on the lawn all day capturing pictures of passing vehicular traffic..

It would be too heavy. Remember, most cats only weigh around 8-10 pounds, and they are not going to be able to hold a camera affixed to their head, even if strapped on.

However, I am giving you a link to something that is much more practical, and is a British link, so the costs are in pounds. The camera only weighs 35 grams.

Make your cat a house cat at no cost to you. You will know exactly were the cat is.
