Computer based dvr for cctv, I have 16 cameras displayed. Why would only 3 cameras be jumpy?

The connections seem fine. I am using BNC adapters than connect to a VGA into the computer. There are 16 box’s on the monitor but the last 3 jump around and are scrambled. You can make out the picture but it’s hard to see whats going on when it jumps up and down. Any thoughts on the problem, Besides connections and cords?

Check that the jumping cameras are set to the same standard as the rest, probably NTSC or PAL depending on where you are. Check also the input standard on the PVR. If they are OK, try swapping inputs by plugging a jumping one into a ‘good’ input and vice versa. This will tell you if it is the PVR or the camera – depending on where the fault goes. Then get the bad thing fixed!
