CCTV Cameras have helped a lot of people in usa . Should cctv cameras be installled in every hospital ward andin every bank ,every train station and every where ,stops criminaistic behavior and captures crimes .Would people agree with this ,and would some agree to install them morein their business and hospital .

I think we (United Kingdom) already have enough closed-circuit coverage. If someone desired, they could, via CCTV, see my entire journey to work everyday; which includes a bus, two tube rides and a long walk. Furthermore, they could probably deduce what I had for breakfast by zooming in on the crumbs festooning my lapels.

You want MORE CCTV? You’re not Tony Blair, are you?

This has already happened in the UK. Except the cameras on London buses (i think there are 8 on each bus) aren’t very good quality… however speeding cameras have fantastic image quality.

    Why is that?

Yup you could in theory eliminate all crime by watching everyone 24/7 and only allowing people to review the tape if accused of a crime, you could also eliminate false convictions because everyone except the perpotrator would have an air tight alibi. Check out Robert J. Sawyer’s "Hominids" series.
