What are some small security cameras for indoors?

I’m looking for a security camera that is small and not noticeable, like if someone tries to break into my house, he wouldn’t notice the camera. Does anyone know what are some kind of security cameras like this?

They have ruled the red light cameras illegal in some cities yet security cameras can be used outside buildings. Both seem the same to me. Is it a matter of private property vs. city property. If so the red light camera companies could just lease the land they’re installed on.

Red light cameras and security cameras are fundamentally different. Both record images. The difference is in what was being done with them.

Red light cameras have been removed in many American cities because they stretch the bounds of law enforcement beyond what is legal. The photos were used to fine car owners who had no opportunity to contest the penalty. Cities tried to get around it by claiming that it was not a criminal charge, just a citation, but that didn’t fly, so the idea was scrapped for the time being. They’re now working on ways to restore them to legal status in the future.

Surveillance cameras under the control of private citizens can be used illegally as well, but typical security use for monitoring private property and the public spaces beyond is legal.

Someone got into my car the other day at work. I am wondering who it is? Is it a patient, stalker, or someone just needing money. We have no security cameras and I am concerned for my safety. I work for a hospital, but not at the main campus, the outpatient part. By law do you have to have security cameras up? We have approximately 30-40 people working in the building if that matters?

This is a question you should put forward to your hospital’s risk manager. I know of no federal requirement that states security cameras are not more than optional depending upon the facility. Most in not all emergency room areas have cameras.

I am in the city and was wondering if the security cameras on top of buildings are under live surveillance or if it’s just recorded incase something happens. What about at night?

I promise i’m not plotting a crime here, just curious.

When in doubt… believe someone is watching. Most recording is stored for up to 30 days.

I do not feel as though the investigation is complete. They need to reopen then investigation and make any and all footage and transmissions available to the public. I was at school and someone pointed out that what I thought where lights where actually security cameras. This was really freaky, cuz I never noticed. What do other security cameras look like? I know they have the classic ones and those big black round things… And I’ve heard of the black tiles on the ceiling being cameras (is that true?)

In schools they don’t monitor their students unless there’s a problem of for emergency causes..
