Are there security cameras in stores, besides departments stores, that have security cameras?

I am not planning on stealing or anything, but I am supposed to do a report about security in malls. So are there cameras in stores like : Aeropostale, American Eagle, Trade Secret, Victorias Secret (all tiny stores.) thanks,

If we are blanketing america. The majority of stores you mentioned above do not. A reason might be because the majority of theft from stores happen internally and happen in the backroom where unlawful employees steal the uncensored merchandise.

nowadays, its been a practice of mall owners to have cctv or cameras to protect both the customers and the mall owners as well against bad elements. lets all be aware that cameras are placed where there are tiny things on display that can be easily put into ones pockets or bag. come cameras are exposed so the people will be aware, another camera is placed on a discreet or hidden place.
