ADT sucks bad. They screwd me over just like they have screwd over loads of others. Just google ADT and Reviews and you will see how horrible they are. Do not use ADT! You will regret it

Don’t use ADT = THIEVES. I am a ADT customer now and have been trying to get them to fix their installation mistakes since day 1. It’s been months now. I am in TX and payed for a top notch residential system with all the bells and whistles. Hardly works, and not to mention customer service means, I will call you back later.
Their recording only let’s me press 1. Each time I do it, I get cut off, even if I wanted their business.
Does it suck because they keep calling your house? Why don’t you just ask them to stop calling…
ADT sucks! They keep calling my house with their machines. I’ve been a home owner since 1982, I never used a security system and I’ve never been robbed.

The Two Way Voice only activates when a alarm occurs so they can’t listen in when ever they want to. Plus there is a mute
button on it if they don’t hang up.

If they showed a black male breaking into a house, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would start a holy war. Everybody has to be so politically sensitive not to offend anybody these days. Look at the prison population and you’ll see who is most likely to break into your house.
Talking with the monitoring center through the keypad sounds like a good idea until you’re standing there shouting at the keypad with the siren going off while the guy breaks into your house, sees you and shoots you, or rapes your wife. Plus, if they get bored at the monitoring center in the middle of the night and turn on my two way speaker to eaves drop on my home – no thanks. Brinks calls my phone and cell phone so I can get out of the way of harm. Google search ADT BTK. Again-no thanks.
Theres not much of a quality difference between the big security companies. Between ADT and Brinks, they are both going to have virtually the same response time. I’m not sure about ADT, but I know Brinks reps get emergency medical training for over the phone help if needed. Other than that, both companies have their own monitoring centers. The only difference is ADT costs significantly more than Brinks to monitor, which is bogus. Stay away from companies like “Monitronics” tho. Horrible.
I know, they keep using the same guy in every commerical too.
ADT apparently believe the majority of home brake-ins are by white males. Extrememely racist.
